What does THE BAR CAR provide?
THE BAR CAR arrives with bar staff, ice, two bar stools for the back bar and all barware required. We can provide a generator, if there is no power onsite. We have a few decorations including vases and candles which we use only if they fit your style!
Do you have a liquor license?
Yes we do! We’re licensed and ready to serve!
What drinks can you serve?
Bottled beer and cider, wine, champagne, liquor, signature drinks, custom drinks, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Can you serve coffee?
Yes. You can add on a coffee package and we can serve coffee and a range of teas. Ask about our coffee packages when you book.
What kind of glassware do you have?
Our stemware (wine glasses, champagne flutes, and specialty stemware) are lovely for whatever event you are hosting. If you are serving keg beer we will provide throw away cups unless glassware is requested (this will be an additional charge), otherwise we will serve your beer in bottles and cans.
Can you serve tap beer?
Excitedly, we now have two taps installed! Ask us about options when we create your custom quote.
Do you do table service?
Not usually, we prefer to serve only from THE BAR CAR. This is great for you as your guests are forced to leave their table and mingle with other guests. It also keeps alcohol costs and waste down as people don’t tend to drink as much when it’s not being consistently topped up! Our staff will roam around, pick up empty glasses and bottles. (We will however, make sure the brides and grooms are pampered.)
Does THE BAR CAR sell alcohol?

Where is THE BAR CAR based and does she travel?
THE BAR CAR is based in Queensbury, NY. We do love a good road trip and will travel to most areas within the capital region of New York, the Adirondacks, and surrounding areas. Let us know where your event is and we will let you know if we can accommodate your event location.
What are THE BAR CAR’s dimensions?
THE BAR CAR is about 16 ft long, 7 ft wide and about 8 ft tall. We are glad to pull in where ever you need us to.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes!
Are your bar staff trained?
Yes, all of our bar staff have TIPS certifications and/or Servsafe alcohol training. We will responsibly serve you and all of your guests with superb customer service and fabulous drinks at your event.
How much does it cost to hire THE BAR CAR?
THE BAR CAR is an extension of our full-service catering company. THE BAR CAR can travel along with us when we are hired to cater your event. She can be used as a bar, specialty appetizer station, late night snack service, photo booth or specialty coffee station, the ideas are endless.
